Laboratory / Artifacts

Experimental
Artifacts

The laboratory preserves intermediate representations as experimental evidence. Outlines, drafts, reviews, revisions, logs, and raw outputs record trajectories rather than merely terminal products.

The final artifact does not supersede its history.

Operational traces from larger experimental runs.

Why Preserve Intermediate States?

If a final artifact contains a defect, preserved intermediate states make it possible to ask where that defect entered the trajectory, whether it was subsequently detected, and whether attempted repair succeeded.
